I can not see to what some people expect for that money. The system could be a child of four years – easily installed. It sounds great and is strong enough for most standard-size room (where my 14 x 14) In fact, I can not imagine me wants to make the stronger as it goes. I saw some review, the coupling length on the power cable – DUH complained in more money, I mean, figure out the two wires.
Others complain of settings – DUH yet read the manual and experiment with speakerLevels and speaker distance – ITS not rocket science. Overall, the system for most all well and the sound is really amazing for this price (or higher for this), coupled with the fact that two optical inputs and one coaxial digital input, and this system is a real winner.

Pretty good system if…… – Martinus – USAF Academy, CO
Items purchased on March 7, 2010 and returned after three weeks. I read the reviews on this before you buy it and were not good, but I decided to give him a chance anyway. I bought for my dorm room which is good, went to the beneficiaries. I do not know why it was blown because I never music. For the short time it worked, it was really good. I ended up sending it back and buy another brand system (Coby) for about $ 30 more, I hope much better. CheaperBrands are best for me, because in a dorm and not really a Sony or other expensive brand.
Good for small room operations – ryan –
I got my RCA system for some time and have little problems with it. The sound is great, less down, that in some areas, much less than expected. The hard plastic used to make the 5 speakers is taking its toll on some quantitative and / or areas of the field. What I mean is that when listening to certain quantities or types of sounds, like explosions, speakers, particularly in the center begin to vibrate and rattle. I tried to cushion tape to the speakers, but theVibration comes from within. Setting the Dolby Digital is not always compatible with the recorded audio from certain films. If a movie set to movie set Dolby Digital, you often reach for the remote, adjust the volume between the scenes. Hearing simple conversation requires a level of volume louder, but when the action or horror-scare moments quickly come quick question, if you woke up the baby, or upset the neighbors.
Do not get me wrong, I lovethis system, but I'm a fan film, and I hate listening closely the development of the plot to spread only to the sound before the big boom lower. I set my favorite sound is or church or in the studio. Both projects sound from each speaker, rather than just the center aleviating, that annoying vibrations. Yes, I know that is not true surround sound, but some films just do not have enough projected by the four other speakers not to suffer intentionally hear what comes fromthe front. All in all, more important, when the sun do not have children, do not have neighbors or friends or another, who is deaf like you, and enjoy the Crank It Up. Otherwise, opt for a balanced system or keep the remote handy.

, I read some posts on this, where people complained that it is not strong enough. When I put on the first and Cars on Blu Ray player via an optical connection I felt the same way. But then I read the instructions and I noticed a Level button on the remote. With this key you can use the output level of each speaker and subwoofer from -10 to +10. I put all the speakers and sub for 5-10. Now I have heard with the main volume to 37, and is strong enough and lowsolid and clear. While watching Monsters vs. Aliens, the scene where the robot around San Francisco is great walking really shook my windows and shook the pictures on my walls. great system for the price.
