Bose® CineMate® Digital Home Theater Speaker System Review

I managed to score this system for $ 200 used. Even so, I read many places to see if it was worth the money. I have read so many mixed reviews that I did not know what to do. I took a chance on set and I thought it might be if I did not sell.

I am pleased to say that movies stay with me. I was connected a bit 'cautious because my installation includes an HD / DVR and Blu-Ray is via HDMI. This system uses RCA cables. This is nota system for audiophiles. What is a simple solution to the search for better sound. I connected this system to my Sharp Aquos LC-52D85U in my living room. Previously I had only seen this TV with built-in speaker. I'm not fanatical sound so that was good for the general opinion, but I wanted to step up a notch when it came to watching Blu-ray movies and major sporting events.

I connected the speakers and the module for my TV. Then I set my TVMode variable turns off the internal speakers. It looks great to me, I have read many posts you have, for example, feel the volume at any crank down.'s Not true. The bass is not easy to overcome if the system at low volume . This is the way it should be. Even at low volume, if there is a large explosion or other shock when you hear a rumble subwoofer.

I would not buy this system of full retail. It 's relatively expensive and you can probably get a lot more tomoney. I am looking for a good deal for a used or refurbished in September If you're looking to improve your home viewing and listening experience and you have a preference for Bose, this series. If your digital audio and all that jazz going to need to buy a complete 5.1 surround. If you use a 2.1 system and better than average sound fine at this price, you take the plunge. I have and I really like. I have heard many good bars in different price ranges and Ias a whole is sufficient to warrant a purchase. A 5.1 system is more than I need for my place. Cinema Bose is just the thing.

A Good Fit, Literally – stevo0416 – Phoenix, AZ
If you look at this buy something more expensive home theater setup, probably looking for something that will surely take a long time and has little space, like much of theater configurations. This is the perfect system in this case, if it is within your budget.

Pros:
– Takes no more space.
– Easy to install, with not many cables in the room.
– Performance … This thing can shake your house, as expected for this pricetags.
– The remote control functions as a universal remote and really easy to use (I use it to control my Fios set top box with ease).

Cons:
– Not very individual with the equalizer settings.
– The color is gray, not black … is wrong with my TV: (
– The speaker stand (sold separately) are like $ 80! Toooo expensive way! I will not change this setting on the work surface.
– N. HDMI

Most of these disadvantages are not deal breakers, I'm still happy with thePurchase (I had this system for over a year)

Excellent alternative to high-priced audiophile systems – S. Judd –
I bought them for our theater room family home. I must say that these pups sound pretty, pretty damn good. They are warm, rich, and offer a decent dynamic range. Did not the "true" 5.1 surround, but is to simulate a great job. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Comparable tuners and speakers in this price range? I do not think …

What a POS – Brandi Fritts – Chattanooga, OK USA
Unit looks good, sounds good, but then think no more of a PS3. Each time a deep soil beat the system would crackle like crazy. I called Bose and they said more or less, I was SOL and that the system was not compatible with my PS3. Now I could forgive the system if it cost me almost $ 500, but at this price, the system should be near perfect, and simply is not. I decided to return my group and now have a Sony HTCT100 on the road for less than half price.
