Bose Lifestyle V20 Home Theater System – Black Review

OK, so all I wanted was a great surround system would have agreed to run around an optical cable, and did not want a big receiver is sitting under my TV for just that purpose only. The display unit is separated from the media is impressive. I have an Xbox 360, Comcast Tivo (yes, Tivo from Camcast) and an Apple Mac mini connected to a 52 "Samsung LCD (1080p) TV, and just wanted surround sound. I was not at night in search of a … no distance actually comes with each systemWorks, is not it? I was still in search of a solution of 1 remote control. (For more information on the remote later)
Forget the fact that I paid $ 1700 for this … I know it would still pay the $ 2,000. Know Bose can be expensive …. If you are in this, you are considering, too. I would do it again, even without the sale price.
That sounds damn good. He blows everyone to everyone out there to see in their $ 1000 or less. I am sure that some money will be an all in onebetter sound, but I'm sure that will cost a pretty penny. It 'also a good bass. Can I have more with Rumble in the "right" 8 "or 10" subwoofer? Yes, if I want, but moving pictures Rush hear sounds perfect! (it was the sound of a low 8 to this way of doing that).
Surround is good, the bass is good, step-TV (for video) is good … even the remote is more than I expected.

REMOTE
Now I was ready to go and buy a real universal remote (Logitech Harmony remotes or old), but was going to first attempt Bose remote.
He waited until I had a couple of hours because I had to redo my HDMI cable. Took the Xbox 360 and Comcast Tivo, removes it from the TV, and has hung on HDMI died in Bose. Bose is now connected to your TV via HDMI. He played with the remote settings, and was as surprised when something works the way I wanted it. I thought that I had to run the IR emitters …. nope. Yes … Please take the time necessary for the settings of the remote. There are many codes for your searchthrough. You understand, no one at first, just because the Power On / Off-work function. Write what works, and in motion, it remains in the list. I took a job 7 on the TV code, if the menu button actually led a working group, see the menu. Took me 3 tries to find the right code Comcast Tivo. The figure is why people have problems with the remote for the general function (that) they stop working with the code 1. The remote controls for Frequeny Bose radio, and to do IR for the rest,Components, without the IR.

Not as good as I thought – D. L. Michie – tx
I have the Bose V-20 a couple of weeks. I have a PS3 for Blu-ray, a new Samsung LCD and Direct TV HD DVR is connected to the Bose. Do not work the remote with something, until I figured out how to change the infrared. I was looking online for a solution. The biggest problem is that every time I go to the channels of Direct TV HD DVR is the Bose "dead" for a minute or 2, then change back, too. It 'really annoying. The sound is ok but not great. I have the surround soundalmost all the way and I am not super happy. My room is about 20 x 25, but that should not be a problem. So I connected my components via HDMI and I have trouble losing change channels and sound try hooking my direct TV HD DVR, the V20 Bose, with the component and see if it works, sure that the will to change the sound of connection too .
I think there is a problem with Bose HDMI inputs, but I'm not technically adept enough to know howto verify this.
I also wish there was more HDMI inputs, 2 hours is not enough light.
I sent a letter to Bose ask questions, and answered quickly.
I have several Bose products and I must say, this is the first time that I am not satisfied to 120%.
I also think that the loud sound as I like. I do not think enough power. Bose told me to unplug everything and reconnect in a particular order. But there's a lot ofWorking for the worse.
I think it is very complex, but overpriced. Are still about 80% satisfied with this system, but I am really thinking of coming back. I saw an amp that sells for $ 900, which offers 6 HDMI inputs and it seems that might work better than the Bose. I will give another weekend, after I make all new connections and then, if not yet satisfied, return the system – which made me sad because I really wanted to Bose.
<br/> UPDATE: After about 3 weeks I tried this system so I wanted to get tired of work. Bose has my support to my DVR directly to a TV with a hook component and the smooth functioning of Bose best picture and sound quality to get – I felt that it was not, but it still sounds to me than I expected. Surround speakers not only have the power to give me a good sound. After much work and much frustration, I returned the Bose and bought a Denon AVR 890 and climbed over $ 1000. The Denonestablish a pain, but the sound is much better I can not believe it. Bose really let me down. I always trust them and I felt if I spent more I could have scored more, but not in this case was true. Oh, by the way the Denon with 5 HDMI inputs. Come to Bose, you need more power and more HDMI inputs. Bose is really for small spaces.
Mine works great – J. Chad Davis – Texas, USA
I have my Bose sound system a few weeks ago he had an afternoon to connect everything, and could not be happier. I have a house of medium size (~ 2400 meters) and the system is sufficient for the volume of music or film soundtracks, including dialogue is heard in my apartment to provide. I also use the system for my music wirelessly from your computer, playing at home and achieve excellent results. Adjust the quality of stereo sound is great, and after using the ADAPTiQ around the sound, is verywell balanced. The room where I watch TV is about 30 x 20, you could use large areas is necessary to consider another system, but this is more than enough for this room. I am especially in surround sound and were always very good DVD, audio tracks are a good satisfactory to both the resolution between dialogue and sound effects is particularly satisfying when using my TV speakers for a few months.
In short, if you're in a room of medium size,This system should be all that is necessary to provide a home entertainment system is, and with other components (or Bose or other parts) expandable. Although not cheap, I found for the right price for the right results I wanted. Other items to consider these in this price range should be considered in any case, the V20 system.
